I am Nancy Striniste, the founder of EarlySpace, a landscape designer and former teacher.  My passion is creating earth-friendly, people-friendly spaces.

My goal is for the landscapes I design to be beautiful and comfortable and fun to be in.

Sustainability is the thread that connects all of my designs.  Whether it’s a backyard or a school or a children’s program I use mostly native plants, locally sourced materials and good stormwater practices.

I like plants, rain gardens, wildlife habitats, edible gardens, rainwater harvesting, water features, green roofs, living walls, outdoor rooms, natural building, outdoor art, community building, creating community and connecting children to nature.
